The following animated tutorials are helpful if your are new to the product or if you prefer to learn how to use it by watching. To view a tutorial click a session title. These tutorials require the Adobe Flash Player.
This session introduces the basic product concepts. It describes the overall process of using SurveyGold, where features are located, how to navigate and how to get help. It provides a helpful overview of the four main sections of the product: Setup Survey, Conduct Survey, View Results and Analyze Results.
This session explains the essentials for creating surveys. It describes how to create a survey, add a section to a survey and add a question to a section. It describes how to reduce the time it takes to create a survey by copying questions from one survey to another. It also shows how to setup a survey so that it collects respondent data.
This session from our Hints & Tips Newsletter explains how to use the View Results feature. It describes how to visually navigate through survey results, how to drill down for more detail and how to view a respondent's completed questionnaire. It also describes how to create a filtered subset of respondents based on how they answered a question or a date range. It also shows how to use that filter to perform actions in the Analyze Results tab so that reports contain only a subset of respondents instead of all respondents. Finally, it shows how to memorize the filters you create and how use them to view different subsets of respondents in multiple series.
This session from our Hints & Tips Newsletter explains how SurveyGold assigns numeric values to response choices and how SurveyGold uses those numeric values to compute the mean response for a given question. It also describes how those numeric values appear when viewing results in the View Results and Analyze Results features.
This session from our Hints & Tips Newsletter explains how to navigate a multi-page web survey form using skip logic.
